Hey everybody. it's no secret the site has been inactive for some time and we do apologize for that. And apologies to all the artists who may feel they've emailed in vain.

Truth is, at great personal expense, phillyblues.com went from a simple informational site in 2000 to one of the most viewed blues websites on the internet in 2005-06. We take great pride in having given more exposure to so many great talents in the tri-state area. And there really are some talented cats around.

But let's be honest, Philly's scene just blows. No point in railing against the radio stations/clubs and promoters that piss all over the regional artists. For working musicians, it's something that is just understood in this town.

So, with that happy note, do check back in January 2008. We're going to continue this self-flagellation by launching a new site. Maybe with more of an attitude this time - who knows? Happy holidays to all and SUPPORT LOCAL BLUES.
